yeah, so i'm still on my semi-hiatus, but i thought i'd jump on the band wangon since there are new members to whom i haven't introduced myself. so let me start by saying, hello this is your friendly neighborhood co-mod!

1) You and Your Marines Name: missy and cody

2) Length of relationship: together for three but married for about 20 months. our 2nd anniversary will just after the new year. it's nice to see fireworks when you're celebrating your marriage. :-)

3) Location of you and your Marine's birth: i'm from honolulu, hawaii; cody's from ocala, florida.

4) Duty station of your Marine: k-bay, hawaii.

5) The most annoying thing about your Marine (they all have at least one annoying trait!): this is hard to answer because i'm trying to get myself not to look at things in such black and white terms like "good," "bad," "annoying," or whatever. sounds lame, i know -- but my sociology professor ROCKS and she's the one encouraging me to do this. anyway, my husband can seem very stubborn at times, but he's usually open to compromise. :-)

6) The best thing about your Marine: he's GORGEOUS, lol, and he's extremely caring under his rough exterior. and he's such a kid at heart. i don't think we'll ever "grow old together" because we'll always be playing around.

7) Names of Children if applicable (pets count as children too!): we have a chihuahua puppy named rosie and a parakeet named hina.

8) Favorite memory of you and your Marine: the look on his face when he first saw me in my wedding dress :-) we were taking photos before the ceremony and i was running SO late and our photographer was on the clock. i RAN to the country club (where our wedding was taking place) from my hotel down the street. by the time i got to the club, my hair was a mess and i was sweaty. but cody didn't see any of that. he was standing in a corner bullshitting with his friends and as soon as he saw me, his eyes got so wide and sparkley and his jaw dropped. i felt awful, but his expression made all the difference. :-)
